Where is Lunar Cable Park?

Lunar Cable Park is located just outside Cuevas del Almanzora about 15/20 minutes from Finca Arboleda. Set around a beautiful freshwater lake, it’s an excellent destination if you’re looking for something different from a traditional beach day on the Costa de Almería.

The park combines adventure, relaxation and great facilities, making it ideal for families, couples and groups of friends.

Wakeboarding in Almería

The highlight of our visit was the wakeboarding.

Unlike traditional wakeboarding behind a boat, Lunar Cable Park uses a cable system that pulls riders smoothly around the lake. Beginners receive friendly and very helpful instruction before starting, while more experienced riders can enjoy jumps, ramps and obstacles to test their skills.

Even if you’re not taking part, it’s great fun watching family members and friends improve with every lap around the lake.

My Grandson 13, loved it and joined his local club in Hove when he returned from his holiday at Finca Arboleda.

Inflatable Water Park Fun for All Ages

The inflatable water park was another huge success with our family.

Packed with climbing walls, giant slides, balance beams and floating obstacles, it’s impossible not to have fun. There were plenty of laughs, lots of splashing and a few spectacular falls into the water, all part of the experience!

Children, teenagers and adults all seemed equally determined to conquer the course.

Relax by the Lake

After working up an appetite, we headed to the beach bar overlooking the lake.

It was the perfect place to enjoy a cold drink and something to eat, while watching the wakeboarders glide past, the burgers are great and the service was good. The relaxed atmosphere means that even those who prefer not to take part can still enjoy spending the day there.

Why Families Will Love Lunar Cable Park

What impressed us most was how well the park caters for everyone.

  • Wakeboarding for beginners and experienced riders.
  • A large inflatable aqua park.
  • Comfortable seating and lakeside relaxation.
  • Food and drinks available on site.
  • Friendly atmosphere with excellent facilities.

It’s rare to find an attraction where every member of the family genuinely enjoys themselves, but Lunar Cable Park certainly achieved that for us.

An Excellent Day Trip from Vera and Mojácar

If you’re holidaying in Vera, Mojácar, Garrucha or elsewhere along the Costa de Almería, Lunar Cable Park is well worth the drive.

It’s a refreshing alternative to a beach day and offers plenty of excitement, exercise and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.

Guests staying at Finca Arboleda Holiday Rentals are always looking for interesting places to visit, and Lunar Cable Park is definitely one we’ll be recommending to future visitors.

Planning Your Visit

We’d recommend bringing:

  • Swimwear and a towel.
  • Sunscreen and a hat.
  • Water shoes if you have them.
  • A change of clothes for the journey home.
  • Plenty of enthusiasm—you’ll almost certainly want to have another go!

Final Thoughts

Our family had a fantastic day at Lunar Cable Park. Between the wakeboarding, the inflatable water park and relaxing beside the lake, it proved to be one of the highlights of our summer.

If you’re searching for things to do in Almería with kids, family activities near Vera, or wakeboarding in Almería, Lunar Cable Park deserves a place near the top of your list.

More and more guests at Finca Arboleda are saying the Lunar park is a big reason for visiting the area, we wish them well.
