There are 4 golf courses within a 15/20 min drive making it the ideal base for a golfing break. The closest, 5 mins away, is the Valle del Este course which is an 18 hole par 71 course with fitness club on site. The Marina de la Torre is a par 72, 18 hole course split into two nine holes on either side of a hill, one overlooking the sea in Mojacar and the other overlooking the valley. A restaurant bar and golf shop are also on site. The best is the unique championship course of Desert Springs, near Cuevas. It is an 18-hole par 72 course with superb views. Desert Springs has a restaurant, bar and driving range and is worth a visit even if you do not play. The fourth is the 9-hole Cortijo Grande which can be played as 18 holes with dual tees for all holes. This is an established course situated in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Cabrerra Mountains.
