Olive picking 2016

11th Nov. Great Crop ! We had over a tonne of Olives this year and a big thank you to friends and guests who helped us pick them. We had a break from tradition and didn’t go to Lubrin but to the Zurano press near Pulpi. Lubrin is a much nicer location but I didn’t missing dragging the trailer up the mountain and at Zurano they do the bottling for you as well. The oil tastes great as usual, nothing quite like fresh oil drizzled on a nice piece of bread, the glass of red to wash it down helps as well!
